Fullscreen Closes Series A Funding

Fullscreen, a Culver City, California-based online video company and a global YouTube network for creators and brands, closed a Series A funding of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by The Chernin Group along with Comcast Ventures and WPP Digital.

The company intends to use the capital for its domestic and international expansion across technology, audience development and sales as well as financing new owned-and-operated content initiatives, and accelerating the development of its SaaS technology.

Led by CEO and founder George Strompolos, Fullscreen offers technology and premium services for content creators and brands to operate on YouTube. The company has a global network of over 10,000 channels, more than 150 million subscribers and over 2.5 billion monthly views.
Clients include brands like NBCUniversal and Ryan Seacrest Productions.
Fullscreen employs 150 people in offices across the country.
