RJMetrics, a Philadelphia, PA-based hosted business intelligence provider, closed $6.25m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Trinity Ventures, with participation from current investor SoftTech VC. In conjunction with the funding, Karan Mehandru, Principal at Trinity Ventures, joined the company’s board.
The company intends to use the capital to increase its marketing efforts, grow its sales and customer success teams, and to enhance its product offering.
Led by Robert J. Moore, CEO, and Jake Stein, COO, RJMetrics is a hosted business intelligence platform for retail and SaaS businesses, which provides analysis of customer purchases, user activities, and product merchandizing. Its Data Warehouse API offers a Data Warehouse as a Service (DWaaS) solution, which provides companies with plug-and-play access to enterprise-class data warehouse functionality.
RJMetrics today serves over 130 clients across five continents.
