Pure Energies Group, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based independent solar advisor to homeowners, raised $6m in equity funding.
Backers included New Enterprise Associates and NGEN.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its brands (1BOG and Cooler Planet).
Led by Zbigniew Barwicz, founder and CEO, Pure Energies Group acquired San Francisco-based solar advisor One Block Off the Grid (1BOG) less than nine months ago and Seattle-based Cooler Planet three months ago.
