popexpert Raises $2M in Funding

popexpert, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based marketplace for lifelong learners to find and hire experts in different fields, raised $2m in funding.

The round was led by Learn Capital, with participation from Capricorn Investment Group and Ken Howery, Chairman of popexpert, Expansion Venture Capital, Mike Walsh of Structure Capital, David Tisch, Noah and Jonah Goodhart, Miki and Radha Agrawal, Mark Ein, Justin Dangel, Jeremy Hinman, Jonathan Segal, Sachin Duggal and Michael Chasen.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its marketplace.

Led by Ingrid Sanders, founder and CEO, popexpert connects learners with experts in a number of categories including meditation, nutrition, relationships, productivity, career mentoring, language and music.

The platform is currently available through private invitation and already has over 1,000 experts.
