Salt Lake City, UT-based Early stage technology venture capital firm Pelion Venture Partners held the final close of its latest fund, at $194m.
Pelion Venture Partners V, which was oversubscribed, exceeding its $175m target, invests nationwide into early-stage technology companies that are applying sophisticated software solutions to various enterprise needs in cloud, internet, mobile, analytics, and networking.
The investment team includes Jim Dreyfous, Carl Ledbetter, Blake Modersitzki, Chris Cooper, Rob Kain, Ben Dahl, and Chad Packard.
Founded in 1986, Pelion has invested in technology companies including Bitcasa, CloudFlare, Domo, Integral Ad Sciences, 33Across, Stormpath, Soasta, DNN, Conviva, Mojiva, and Venafi.
