Med-Pharmex, Inc., a Pomona, California-based provider of pharmaceutical research, formulation, and manufacturing in the animal health industry, received an investment from healthcare-focused private equity firm DW Healthcare Partners.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the investment for its acquisition and product development plans.
Led by Gerald Macedo , CEO, Med-Pharmex provides veterinary pharmaceuticals for companion animals, such as dogs, cats, and horses, and food-producing animals, such as cattle, swine and poultry. The company operates three manufacturing facilities.
