M2fx Raises $3M in Funding

M2fx, a Framlingham, U.K.-based maker of fiber optic cables, raised $3m in funding.

The round was led by existing investor Linnaeus Capital Partner B.V..

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate worldwide sales and expand its customer base, , particularly in the Fiber to the Premises (FTTP) market.

Led by Tom Carpenter, CEO, m2fx has produced a range of fiber cable, microduct and protection tube products, which are fitted for the last 200 feet of fiber installations.
The company’s products have been used in over 25,000 FTTP installations around the world with customers including large telecoms operators, data centers, and organizations in the automotive and high technology aerospace/defense markets.
