Xeneta Receives €1.2M in Financing

Xeneta, an Oslo, Norway-based price comparison service for sea freight, received €1.2m in financing.

The round was led by Creandum with participation from Norwegian private investment company Alden.

The company intends to use the funds to further strengthen the team and continue to expand internationally.

Led by co-founder Thomas Sørbø, Xeneta provides a SaaS platform for generation of open information links in shipping, allowing freight buyers and sellers to compare their rates both to the market average-and best-in-class rates.
Founded in 2012 by Patrik Berglund, Thomas Sørbø & Vilhelm Vardøy, the company currently covers over 125.000 data points per month on 1.100 port-port combinations to and from Europe.
