GVNetworks Raises $200K in Seed Funding

GVNetworks, a Kraków, Poland-based a privacy protection solutions, recently raised PLN650k (approximately USD$200k) in seed funding.

Backers included the Krakow Technology Park seed fund (FZ KPT).

The company intends to use the funds to develop its technology to integrate it with common browsers.

Founded in 2011 and led by CEO Blazej Marciniak, Marek Ciesla, and COO Tom Widerski, GVNetworks provides PrivacyProtectorGVN, a Virtual Private Network based on its proprietary P2P technology, which does not require a central server and creates a secure environment for the exchange of data and communications on demand, regardless of whether the user is on a local network or on the internet.
PrivacyProtectorGVN is currently available for Windows 7, 8, Vista and XP. OSX and Linux will come soon.
