EveryMove Raises $3.5M in Series A-1 Funding

EveryMove, a Seattle, WA-based company that offers rewards programs for their health, raised $3.5m in Series A-1 funding.

Backers included BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Sandbox Industries, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its market presence nationally and increase its marketing activities.

Led by CEO Russell Benaroya, EveryMove is a lifestyle-based rewards program that enables consumers to connect devices and applications that capture their healthy activities and convert that information into rewards from brands, their employer and their health care provider. The company has signed partnership with MyFitnessPal and Endomondo, two apps for people eager to track their health, nutrition and physical activity, with Precor and its Preva networked fitness solution, which enables users to earn points on their EveryMove accounts while working out at any health facility that uses machines from Precor, with  rewards partners including brands such as Blue Nile, Cabela’s, Hotel Monaco and ESPN.

EveryMove has launched the Android version of its EveryMove application on the Android Play Store.
