Eduson.tv Launches with $1M in Funding

Eduson.tv, a Moscow, Russia-based online business learning service, just launched with around $1m in funding.

Backers included Groupon Russia founders and Elena Masolova, among others.

The company intends to use the capital to add content and improve the platform.

Co-founded by CEO Daria Zimina and Elena Masolova, Eduson offers three types of courses:
1. by professors from business schools
2. by guest speakers, who are experts in their given business field and
3. free courses, featuring existing content by globally-recognized experts (e.g. Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Ballmer, Tony Hsieh, Tim Draper, Steve Blank).
Each course includes videos, slides, reading materials for every lecture, and tests.
