DudaMobile Raises $10.3M in Funding

DudaMobile, a Palo Alto, California-based do-it-yourself mobile website solution for small businesses, raised $10.3m in new funding.

The round was led by Pitango Venture Capital and Oren Zeev from Orens Capital, with participation from Primera Capital, Figtree Partners, Dan Rose, VP Partnerships at Facebook, Don Katz, CEO at Audible.com, Zohar Gilon, etc.

The company intends to use the capital for product development and expansion of its service offerings including mobile advertising.

Led by Itai Sadan, CEO, DudaMobile is a do-it-yourself mobile website platform that gives small- and medium-sized businesses a way to build a mobile-friendly website. The company leverages a patented technology to make it easy to convert desktop websites into mobile optimized sites.
It is used amongst agencies, designers, marketers and small businesses, as well as large enterprise partners including GoDaddy, AT&T, Yahoo, Google, Homestead and OpenTable.
Duda, which currently hosts 4 million mobile websites on its platform, recently expanded into international markets including Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico and Spain.
