Cue Ball Capital Raises Additional $30M

Cue Ball Capital, a Boston, MA-based evergreen venture capital fund, raised an additional $30m.

According to a filing with the S.E.C. (read here), 57 investors backed the fund.

Led by Richard J. Harrington, Tony Tjan, John Hamel, and Mats Lederhausen, Cue Ball focuses on investing in business information services, digital media, and specialty consumer opportunities.
The firm has invested in Knovel, which was recently acquired by Reed Elsevier, Stylesight, Shape Up the Nation (read here), 1-800-Dentist (read here), ideeli (read here), Tickets for Charity, MiniLuxe, PlanetTran, Epic Burger, Livefyre (read here), Banyan Water, Yapp, Scroll Motion and Long Tail Video (read here).
