Bluetrain Mobile Raises $1.53M in Seed Funding

Bluetrain Mobile, a Cambridge, MA-based provider of a platform that allows small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to build optimized websites for any touch screen, raised $1.53m in seed funding.

Backers included Polaris Partners, Atlas Venture, Boston Seed Capital, LaunchCapital and private investors.

The company intends to use the capital to increase sales, marketing, and research and development efforts.

Led by CEO Steffan Berelowitz, and CMO and Senior Vice President Nina McIntyre, Bluetrain provides SME marketers and their agencies who need affordable solutions that support lead generation and customer engagement goals across multiple devices with a platform to create mobile (smartphone and tablet) sites. The company intends to roll out expanded responsive features for any screen, including desktops, throughout the year.
