Pricing Engine, a NYC-based startup that provides a solution that helps small businesses manage and improve their online ad results, is raising $1.5m in Series A funding.
Backers incude David Liu, founder and CEO of XO Group is committing $1m.
Led by Jeremy Kagan, founder and CEO, Pricing Engine was built for businesses that don’t have a team of marketing professionals and a huge budget. It works by comparing the business to its peers. The user can select the industry, geography, and budget range he/she wants to be compared to in order to receive feedback on how he is doing and improve the performance.
The solution is currently available for use in search advertising. The company intends to add capabilities for optimizing display advertising, social media marketing and e-commerce later in 2013.
