MineSense Technologies Closes Series A Funding with Chrysalix EVC

MineSense Technologies Ltd, a North Vancouver, BC, Canada-based startup dedicated to developing mining technology, closed its Series A funding with Chrysalix EVC.

The amount of the round was not disclosed. In conjunction with the funding, Charlie Haythornthwaite, a Partner at Chrysalix EVC, will join the company’s board.

Led by Andrew Bamber, CEO, MineSense Technologies provides sensor-based sorting systems to pre-concentrate low-grade ores in the metal mining industry.
The company aims to commercialize its technology by developing a standardized product suite, which can provide economic benefits including increased operational efficiency and profitability due to decreased requirements for energy, water and chemicals.
