Mediaset is to launch a new venture capital initiative.
Ad4Ventures will focus on investing in high potential Italian companies operating in the area of digital technology.
According to a wrtitten statement, it will back new businesses active in the consumer and retail sectors, in a development phase with a clear business plan and their own management team.
Ad4Ventures will acquire stakes in the selected start-ups and provide them with communication and promotion plans across all of its distribution platforms.
Access is also open to foreign companies not currently operating in the Italian market.
