iStreamPlanet, a Las Vegas-based developer of live streaming video technology, raised an undisclosed amount of Series A financing.
The round was led by Intel Capital, with participation from Juniper Networks (Junos Innovation Fund).
The company intends to use the capital to continue to develop its solutions.
Founded in 2000 and led by Mio Babic, CEO, iStreamPlanet is a multiplatform video-workflow solutions provider. The company has built a comprehensive offering of cloud-based video-workflow products and services for live event and live linear streaming channels.
Clients include technology brands such as NBC, Turner Broadcasting, Notre Dame Athletics, AT&T, Pac-12 and Microsoft.
iStreamPlanet also has offices in Redmond, Wash., and London.
