Crushpath Closes $6M Series A Funding

Crushpath, a San Francisco, Calif.-based provider of a platform that gives users a way to pitch, get responses, and keep track of relationships, closed a $6m Series A funding.

The round, which follows a $2m funding the company had raised eight months ago, was led by Chamath Palihapitiya, founder and managing partner of The Social+Capital Partnership, with participation from Charles River Ventures (George Zachary) who lead the company’s seed round in 2012.

Led by Sam Lawrence, co-founder and CEO, Crushpath allows users (recruiters, journalists, realtors, business unit managers, agents, entrepreneurs) to pitch, get responses, and keep track of their relationships.

The company just launched its Pitch SitesTM, which provides people in sales functions, to marketing, human resources, and business development with tools to create and deliver an online elevator pitch for their product, service, idea, or event. The can choose an industry-specific template and add photos, videos, text, links, customer references, and other assets.

Crushpath has users at more than 6,000 companies across 18 industries from SMBs to Fortune 500s including McAfee, Cox Communications, TriNet, StateFarm, and BeachBody.
