Centzy Raises $1.6M in Seed Funding

Centzy, a NYC-based comparison shopping engine, raised $1.6m in seed funding.

Backers included ff Venture Capital, Cowboy Ventures, Lightbank, Founder Collective, and other angels.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its service nationwide and into new areas such as personal and family care, gyms, home and car services.

Led by co-founder and CEO Jay Shek, CTO Jeremy Clemenson Centzy provides a comparison shopping engine for local services such as haircuts, massages, manicures, and yoga classes. It is currently available in Louisville, Miami, Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, Arlington, San Francisco, Charlotte, New York City, Atlanta and Honolulu.
