Bebê Store, a Brazilian online baby and children’s emporium, recently raised a R$20m Series B funding.
Backers included W7 Brazil Capital and Atomico (which made its first investment in the company in December 2011).
The company intends to use the capital to expand the product range, continue to recruit and augment their management team, and further develop their logistics capabilities.
Founded in December 2009 by local entrepreneur CEO Leonardo Simão and Juliana Della Nina, Bebê Store provides mothers across Brazil with a complete range of goods at competitive prices. It currently has over 45,000 items on offer.
