Arkadium, a New York City-based creator of a large library of casual games, closed a $5m Series A funding from Edison Ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to increase the number of titles it puts into development and expand its proprietary online distribution network. It plans to more than double its staff worldwide over the next three years (read here).
Led by Jessica Rovello, president, and Kenny Rosenblatt, CEO, Arkadium develops casual games Titles include Taptiles®, Sparks, Trizzle, Mahjongg Dimensions and others.
The company, which has a partnership with Microsoft Studios, has offices in Canada and Ukraine.
