Appcore, a Des Moines, IA-based global provider of a cloud computing automation platform, closed a $6m Series B funding.
Backers included existing investor Telephone Acquisition Company.
The company intends to use the proceeds to continue global expansion of its local cloud deployments, as well as to further develop its offerings.
Founded in 2008 and led by Brian Donaghy , CEO, and Jeff Tegethoff , President, Appcore delivers local cloud infrastructure for Enterprise Private Clouds and Service Provider Public Clouds. The Appcore Onsite™ cloud platform is a fully supported end-to-end solution that incorporates hardware, software and business services, including management, branding, marketing, analytics and billing, as well as training and support. It is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) system delivering cloud servers for service provider, data center and enterprise businesses.
The company has offices in Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore.
