Reactor Labs Launches Speech-Enabled App

Reactor Labs, a Boulder, CO-based startup, just launched a speech-enabled app called Winston with funding from several investors.

The company, a recent graduate of DreamIt Ventures, is backed by Windforce Ventures, ENIAC Ventures and Woodgen, among others.

Available for free in the Apple App Store in the U.S. and a number of other English-speaking countries, Winston is a speech-enabled mobile app assistant that It uses deep semantic analysis to transform consumers’ social feeds and favorite news sites into an intelligent, narrated, CNN-style news presentation that they can watch and listen to via iPhone and Apple TV.
Led by Aaron Ting, CEO and co-founder, Reactor Labs has received interest for licensing and advertising opportunities from multiple companies, including high-profile consumer electronics and automotive brands.
