Nomi Raises $3M in Seed Funding

Nomi, a NYC-based startup that provides retailers with an omni-channel engagement platform, raised $3m in seed funding.

The round was led by First Round Capital, with participation from SV Angel, Greycroft Partners, Dave Tisch, Forerunner Ventures, Ralph Mack, Andy Dunn (CEO, Bonobos), and Sam Decker (CEO, Mass Relevance).

Co-founded in August 2012 by CEO Marc Ferrentino, President Corey Capasso, and Chief Revenue Officer Wesley Barrow,  Nomi is developing an engagement platform to provide retailers with a single view of their customers across online, mobile, and in-store channels. It offers:
– Nomi Listen, which provides real time actionable insight to help organizations recognize and reward loyal customers;
– Nomi Measure, which is designed to help users understand the impact of their marketing initiatives on customer behavior in stores and optimize accordingly.

The company is currently working on pilot programs with major retailers and is actively hiring (read here).
