MyTime Launches with Funding

MyTime, an online platform that allows consumers to book appointments, has launched in the Los Angeles area with funding from Silicon Valley-based venture capitalists and angel investors.

The round was led Mark Suster of GRP Partners, with participation from Dave McClure (500 Startups), Brian Lee (Founder of ShoeDazzle, LegalZoom, Honest.com), Jason Calacanis (Founder of Mahalo, Thisweekin.com), Dave Tisch, Ben Smith (Merchant Circle), Evan Rifkin, Jennifer Lum, Jay Weintraub and others.

Founded by Ethan Anderson (co-founder and former CEO of Redbeacon), MyTime integrates into scheduling systems that small businesses use, such as Google
Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal, MINDBODY, BookFresh and more, to allow consumers to view real-time appointment availability across thousands of businesses and receive instant confirmations when they purchase services.
The solution also incorporates a dynamic pricing feature, which may increase or decrease the price of an appointment depending on demand for that particular time.

The product will initially feature over 500,000 open appointments in the LA area.
