Insurance Zebra, an Austin, Texas-based online insurance comparison platform, raised a seed round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Silverton Partners, with participation from Mark Cuban, Mike Maples Jr., and Birchmere Labs, among others.
The company intends to use the capital to expand the team and launch the first version of their comparison engine.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Adam Lyons, Insurance Zebra is a comparison platform for the insurance industry which adjusts premiums in real-time as users input their information, helping to clarify what and how factors affect their rate.
