Infinio (fka SilverLining Systems), a Cambridge, MA-based developer of storage performance software, closed a $10m Series A funding.
Backers included Highland Capital Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, which joined earlier investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Cambridges Founder Collective, the NYC Seed Fund, and a group of angel investors.
The funding, which brings the total amount raised to date to $12m, will be used for additional hiring (firstname.lastname@example.org), product development, and marketing groundwork in preparation for a product launch later this year.
In conjunction with the financing, Highland’s Sean Dalton and Bessemer’s Felda Hardymon have joined the company’s board of directors.
Founded in 2011 by Vishal Misra and CEO Arun Agarwal, Infinio Systems is building solutions that are designed to improve the data storage performance of virtualized environments. The company has offices in New York.
