HStreaming, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of in-time Big Data analytics technology, raised a funding of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Atlas Venture.
Led by Jana Uhlig, co-founder and CEO, HStreaming provides government, telcos, adtech, and finance organizations with an analytics platform that continuously analyzes data in real time and renders it actionable, so that them can respond to information in time.
The technology enables smart collection, analysis and visualization of massive data continuously as it gets generated. It processes both structured and unstructured data including text, video and sensor data. It analyzes and stores data where it is generated, in the data center or geographically distributed systems, and provides automated and actionable analysis in milliseconds. The platform is powered by Hadoop and is compatible with all Hadoop distributions.
