Enigma Raises $1.1M in Seed Funding

Enigma, a New York City-based developer of solutions to analyze public data sources, raised $1.1m in seed funding.

According to the company’s web site, backers included TriplePoint Capital, Crosslink Capital, Brent Hurley, Strauss Zelnick, and Matthew Glass.

Led by CEO Jeremy Bronfman, and co-founders Marc DaCosta and Hicham Oudghiri, the company aims to harness and make it available public data set including import bills of lading, aircraft ownership, lobbying activity, real estate assessments, spectrum licenses, financial filings, liens, government spending contracts, etc., published by governments, companies and organizations.
