Click Security, an Austin, Texas-based developer of real-time security analytics, raised $17.7m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with additional participation from Citi Ventures and existing investor Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the capital to expand sales, marketing and engineering initiatives.
Led by Marc Willebeek- LeMair, Chief Executive Officer, Click Security provides customers across financial services, higher education, and retail sectors as well as government agencies, with a Real-time Security Analytics that automates the finding of unknown cyber attack activity hidden in an organization’s big data “haystack”. The company’s solution converts logs, flows, authentications and security events into contextual “actor-based” information – enabling security analysts to pinpoint anomalous activity through automated analytics and interactive visualization.
