Blue Apron, a NY-based subscription meal kit startup, raised $3m in Series A funding.
Backers included Bessemer Venture Partners, First Round Capital, David Tisch, Jim Moran, Jason Finger, Nat Turner, Zach Weinberg, and Graph Investments.
The company intends to use the capital to expand nationwide.
Co-founded by CEO Matt Salzberg, CTO Ilia Papas, and CPO Matthew Wadiak, Blue Apron provide kits delivered in a pack with all the ingredients to make meals in the right proportions.
