Western Technology Investment Closes Seventh Fund at $375M

Silicon Valley-based Western Technology Investment has closed its seventh fund at $375m.

Backed by leading institutional investors, the venture debt fund plans to make investments ranging from $250,000 to $25m in a wide range of technology and life science companies ranging from seed-stage start-ups to publicly-held companies.

In addition, Patrick Lee has joined the Portola Valley, CA-based firm as an investment partner. Mr. Lee has 20 years of experience in the technology industry as an investment banker, debt investor and equity investor. Prior to joining WTI, he was with Pinnacle Ventures, JPMorgan Partners, Access Technology Partners, Hambrecht & Quist and Merrill Lynch.
