UK Work Study Raises £50K Funding via Seedrs

UK Work Study, a London, Uk-based startup that provides international students and workers with packs containing information on living in the UK, has raised a £50k SEIS investment round.

79 backers invested between £10 and £10,000 via Seedrs, a seed-stage investment platform, which will now act as nominee for these investors, meaning that UK Work Study will only have one legal shareholder with whom to coordinate.

Established in 2011 by Managing Director Beverley Nash and Neil Mehta, UK Work Study provides arrival packs in order to allow international students and workers to save time, money and stress during their relocation to the UK.
Study and work packs, which contain numerous items to assist in the move, including the setting up of a bank account, pre-paid cash card, a UK telephone number, free international money transfer, National Insurance number assistance, comprehensive guides to the UK and partnering with other specialist companies to cover all the key areas of moving and providing expert advice, are sent to individuals prior to arriving in the UK.
