Startup Labs Goes to Philippines

Startup Labs, a global co-investment program for tech startups that focuses on emerging markets, is going to Manila, Philippines, in February.

Investment partners including IdeaSpace, Siemer & Associates, ICCP Venture Partners and local angels will be listening to startups’ pitches in Manila to explore opportunities.

The deadline for registering (here) for the Philippine program is January 20th and the pitching sessions are scheduled for the first week of February.

Led by Director Tugce Ergul, Startup Labs travels to emerging markets to discover promising early stage tech startups, invest in them with local investors, and explore various cross-border opportunities. For 2013, it has plans to visit over 25 cities on four continents and gather at least 100 local investors together to invest in +125 startups around the world.
