Sensorly Closes €1M Funding

Sensorly, a Paris, France-based developer of community-based wireless coverage maps, recently closed a €1m funding.

The round was led by Elaia Partners.

The company intends to use the capital to grow their community of users worldwide and to further develop
their services for consumers, enterprises and wireless carriers.

Founded by CEO Boris Lacroix, Sensorly provides a free application (for Android and Apple iOS devices) that enables users to view accurate mobile data coverage maps, compare carriers and test the speed of their data connection. It offers 200 coverage maps accross 40 countries covering all wireless technologies, from 2G to 4G as well as Wifi.
