Global venture capital firm Mayfield Fund has started raising a second Indian fund according to a filing with the S.E.C. (read here).
Mayfield India II follows a $111m fund the firm raised in 2008, which focuses on Consumer Services, Internet, Mobile, Technology & Technology Enabled Services, Logistics, and Agriculture-related Businesses. The firm’s Indian portfolio includes Centum Learning, dealsandyou, Fourcee, Genesis Colors, Geodesic Techniques, and Sohan Lal Commodity Management (read here).
The filing lists Navin Chaddha, Couldiplall Lala, Zoubeir Khatib and James Beck as partners while doesn’t provide a target amount for Fund II.
