Keek, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based social video networking platform, closed a $18m funding.
The round was co-led by AGF Investments Inc., Pinetree Capital Ltd (TSX: PNP) and Plazacorp Ventures, with participation from Cranson Capital.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate new feature releases, develop support for more platforms and expand infrastructure.
Led by Isaac Raichyk, Founder and CEO, Keek has developed a social networking platform that allows users to create 36-second videos using webcam, iPhone or Android devices and share them with other people in more than 100 countries.
