Jostle Raises $3.1M in Series A Equity Funding

Jostle Corporation, a Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based cloud people engagement platform, raised an additional $3.1m in Series A equity funding.

Backers include private individuals.
To date, Jostle has raised $4.6m, all from private individuals. It has 52 shareholders, including most employees and all directors.

The company intends is using the funding to accelerate the market entry with its enterprise software offering.

Led by CEO Brad Palmer, Jostle provides a cloud-based people engagement platform presents that is designed to help organizations around the globe enable their employees and drive their culture, bridge organizational silos, integrate acquisitions, foster teamwork and stimulate innovation in a work relevant, people-centric and engaging way.
The company competes with conventional intranets (internal website portals) and emerging enterprise social platforms like Yammer and Jive.
