Jody Sherman, a Los Angeles, CA-based entrepreneur and angel investor, passed away.
Founder of ecomom and Smart Charter, which was sold to Virgin, Sherman was 47-years-old and leaves behind his wife Kerr.
Jody began his internet career began at Lycos in 1995 and then continued with executive roles at start-ups BuyDirect (acquired by Beyond.com), and Xoom (acquired by NBC).
