Astia Launches Angel Network

Astia, a San Francisco, CA-based not-for-profit organization organization that aims to propel women’s full participation as entrepreneurs and leaders in high-growth businesses, launched an angel investor network.

Astia Angel, which includes both female and male business angels located globally, focuses on investing in women-led, high-growth ventures in technology, life science and consumer industries.

The network is led by Founding Managing Partner Amy Gips ([email protected]), as well as Founding angels including Roger Bamford, Tiffany Bass Bukow, Karen Drexler, Wayne Goodrich, Anula Jayasuriya Sharon Knight, Tim McClarren, and Adam Quinton.

Created 14 fourteen years ago and led by Sharon Vosmek, CEO, Astia is a community of over 3,000 experts committed to building women leaders and accelerating the funding and growth of the companies they lead.  The organiztion’s advisor network includes more than 350 investors and 300 current and former c-level startup executives.
