AppGratis Raises $13.5M in Series A Funding

AppGratis, a Paris, France-based iOS app discovery tool, raised a $13.5m in Series A funding from Iris Capital and the Orange Publicis fund.

The company intends to use the capital to continue to expand its user base globally opening overseas offices in 2013.

It currently has 7 million users in over 30 countries.

Led by CEO Simon Dawlat, AppGratis works with 6,000 app developers to provide a premium app discovery network spanning 40 countries and 7 million iOS users. The company, which has a staff of 40 in Paris, also has operations in dozens of markets including Brazil, Japan, London, UK, and San Francisco, CA.
