Testive Raises $500K in Seed Funding

Testive, a Cambridge, MA-based startup that has developed a new line of test-preparation products, has raised $500k in seed funding.

Backers included Jean Hammond, Eileen Rudden, Dharmesh Shah, Don McLagan and Bill Warner.

Co-founded by Tom Rose, Facundo Chamut, and CEO Miro Kazakoff, the company has developed (at MIT) a software and prep product, called SAT Habit, which which uses adaptive algorithms and engaging experiences to help students improve their scores on tests
by automatically generating strengths and weaknesses assessments and letting them concentrate on needed areas.

Testive is an alum of TechStars’ Boston accelerator (Winter 2012).
