Smartsheet.com Inc., a Bellevue, WA-based Software as a Service (SaaS) collaboration provider, has raised $26m in funding.
The company intends to use the funding to accelerate sales and marketing efforts, advance software development efforts, and expand partnerships.
Led by Mark Mader, CEO, Smartsheet provides cloud-based solutions that allows enterprise users to coordinate and manage processes and projects (related to marketing campaigns, product launches, business operations, sales pipelines, strategic planning and HR initiatives, among others) by sharing critical information with colleagues, vendors, and clients. The company also offers pre-built templates and integrations with cloud apps including Google Drive, Box and Salesforce.
Its solutions are used by people in a broad range of customer environments, from large enterprises including HomeAway, DHL, Toshiba, ESPN, Sony Music, and MetLife to small and medium-sized companies, schools and universities, government entities, healthcare organizations, non-profits, law firms.
In conjunction with the funding, Ryan Hinkle, principal at Insight Venture Partners, will join Smartsheet’s Board of Directors.
