Retronaut, a UK-based web site that allows users to travel back in time via a collaborative consumption platform, recently received a follow-on investment from EC1 Capital.
The amount of the deal was unknown but according to EC1 Capital’s website, the vc firm has doubled its stake in the company, following the first investment, which was made in March 2012.
Founded by blogger Chris Wild, Retronaut includes pieces of content such as videos, pictures, music and text across several categories (sports, tech, music, fashion, travel, music, etc.) from public and private archives.
The company was also backed by Charlotte Street Capital (read here).
