Q-Sensei Secures Funding; Hires in Germany

Q-Sensei Corp., a NYC and Erfurt-based search technology company, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding.

The round was led by Verizon Ventures, with participation from bm-t beteiligungsmanagement Thüringen GmbH, and private angel investors.

In addition, Richard N. Nottenburg, PhD, a technology and communications executive, former CEO of Sonus Networks and Chief Strategy officer of Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI), joined the company’s board.

Led by Ute Rother, CEO, Q-Sensei provides a search, discovery and analytics platform and search-based applications, that allow users to access contextually-relevant and actionable information from their data.
The company provides solutions for SharePoint, web feeds, social network feeds and other business content.
