Pictosis Raises €2.5K in Crowdfunding through Starteed

Pictosis, an Ecuador-based startup that is launching a pictographic design store and studio, has raised approximately €2.5k in crowdfunding.

A total of 41 supporters have backed the project via Starteed.

Founder Xavier Iturralde intends to use the funding to cover the first production of limited edition t-shirts and accessories.

Xavier told me a bit more about the origins of the project: “Pictosis comes from thousand of years ago with my ancestors prehispanic and precolombian pictograms, and then with my pictographic psicosis dream I got after years of studying design and art“.

He now needs other funds to cover other costs that include:
– production
– the physical store
– the online store
– the staff.

Founded by CEO Claudio Bedino, Starteed is a crowdfunding site that also allows creators to sell their products on an e-shop with the help of a community of influencers and supporters.
