Leaky Raises $670K in Seed Funding

Leaky, a San Francisco, California-based company that operates a nationwide auto insurance comparison site, has raised $670K in funding.

Backers include Y Combinator, 500 Startups, Start Fund, Box Group, and other unnamed angel investors.

The company intends to use the capital to add new features and to further develop its solution.

Co-founded by CEO Jason Traff, Leaky has just launched its comparison service that is designed to help consumers decide their auto insurance. It currently supports over 100 different insurers across the US, allowing drivers to calculate the impact of moving homes or adding a new car to their auto insurance.
The company, which is a graduate of the Y Combinator programm, plans to expand into additional lines of insurance and continue to build Leaky into a destination to shop for, compare, and manage insurance online.
