DocPlanner Raises $1M in Series A Funding

DocPlanner, a Warsaw, Poland-based company that operates an online medical and dental appointment scheduling system, has raised $1m in Series A funding.

Backers include Point Nine Capital, Piton Capital, RTA Ventures and local angel investors.

The company intends to use the capital to further develop its system and to expand geographically in the countries where it already operates and enter new in Eastern Europe.

Co-founded in 2010 by Mariusz Gralewski, DocPlanner provides patients with tools to find a medical specialist in their neighborhood and schedule an appointment using the doctor’s calendar. It is available in Poland (http://www.znanylekarz.pl/), Czech Republic (http://znamylekar.cz/), Slovakia (http://znamylekar.sk/), Russia (http://drscore.ru/) and Germany (http://docplanner.de/).
