Yotpo Raises $1.5M in Seed Funding

Yotpo, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based startup that provides a free product reviews system for eCommerce websites, has raised $1.5m in seed funding.

According to multiple reports, backers include Rhodium, Gandyr Group, Zohar Gilon, Tron Capital. Plus Ventures and 2bAngels, which invested $800k in the seed round of the company earlier this year, also participated in this financing.

The company intends to use the capital to expand adoption for its solution among ecommerce websites, and further develop the product.

Founded by CEO Tomer Tagrin, Yotpo provides a free plug & play social reviews system (based on a simple JS line script) that gives shoppers the opportunity to reade and write reviews and eCommerce websites to generate traffic and increases social engagement. The company’s free plan is open to all that fall within the limits of 1M page views per month on their store while larger sites can choose to subscribe to (no-free) enterprise plans.
